The slewing crane: lifting - slewing – positioning

In principle, slewing jib cranes can be divided into the two categories pillar jib crane and wall-mounted jib crane. In addition to the hoisting movement, the slewing jib crane can also carry out a slewing movement. With the slewing crane, the upper part with the jib rotates about a vertical axis in relation to the lower part.

The pillar-mounted slewing cranes are designed for free-standing installation on the floor (outdoor installation or hall installation) and offer the following advantages thanks to their design features:

• Large 360° swivel range
• Stable floor mounting or console mounting (outdoor and indoor)
• Loads up to 500kg possible
• Projection of the swivel arm up to 2000 mm

The wall-mounted slewing crane, on the other hand, is designed for mounting on a wall or support. For this purpose, the slewing crane is mounted on a wall mounting bracket and offers the following advantages:

• Ground clearance thanks to wall mounting
• High payloads thanks to inclined strut
• Projection of the swivel arm up to 2000 mm
• For indoor and outdoor use
