Paleozoic Museum Hauff – assembly work in museum

Project description

Case Study 26

INITIAL SITUATION: An impressive trip to the history of our earth. This is even more exciting when it happens on our doorstep, and we can go back 200 million years in the same place and marvel at contemporary witnesses from that time. The Paleozoic Museum Hauff in Holzmaden is one of the largest private natural history museums in Germany and known worldwide for its extraordinary fossils. The goal is to move and transport priceless witnesses of time.

SOLUTION: For this task the museum relies on the reliable technology from SCHILLING. Here, the Multilift is used, which is specifically designed for wall mounting of heavy valuable stone slabs. The lifting forks are precisely adapted to the task at hand, which allows safe, gentle and precise work.

RESULT: “The combination of a small packing size and high lifting force make the Mulitlift as a lifting device a valuable and flexible aid for us during assembly work”, explains Bernhard Hauff from the Paleozoic Museum Hauff. We can’t and won’t add to that at SCHILLING. Except that we are a bit proud to see our expertise in handling such unique works of art.
