Volunteer fire brigades are called upon daily for rescue and extinguishing operations. Particularly during rescue operations, they are confronted with the most diverse requirements. For this reason, regular fire brigade drills take place.
For example, an animal rescue was on the agenda of the monthly exercise of the volunteer fire brigade Endholz. In a narrow barn the exercise was the rescue of cows. Especially here, SCHILLING's lightweight gantry cranes show their flexibility and mobility.
The individual modules of our mobile gantry crane can be easily transported to the site of operation and are easy to assemble even in confined spaces. The high load capacity of our aluminium gantry cranes allows even heavy lifting tasks.
Thus, the animal rescue exercise was completed quickly and successfully thanks to our crane and lifting technology. The gantry crane will safely be used again during one or the other rescue.
Christian Gschwandtner of the voluntary fire-brigade Endholz meant: “We looked for a very flexible tool and also found it. The mobile crane can be set up very well in low stables as well as outdoors. We use the crane for rescue from pits or shafts".
