+++ short ticker +++ 1000 years old sarcophagus open +++

During renovation work in the nave of the Johanniskirche in Mainz a 1000 year old sarcophagus was discovered yesterday and the 700kg heavy stone slab was lifted with the help of a SCHILLING gantry crane. The mortal remains of the buried person are said to be over 1000 years old according to initial investigations.
