Four new pictograms serve as a uniform overview for all SCHILLING lifting products. Here are brief explanations of the individual pictograms:
All products marked with the CE mark comply with the EU-wide requirements for safety, health protection and environmental protection. The manufacturer is responsible for compliance with European regulations and for affixing the CE marking.
The UKCA marking is the British version of the CE marking. It makes it clear that a product brought onto the British market fulfils the conformity requirements of this market. Our SCHILLING products comply with both the CE marking and the UKCA marking.
The ATEX directive regulates explosion protection and serves to protect people from explosion hazards. There is a risk of explosion wherever flammable substances such as gases, mists, vapours or dusts are present in ignitable concentrations. SCHILLING gantry cranes and other lifting products are also certified for ATEX Zone 1 environments. ATEX zone 1 is an area in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture of air and flammable gases, vapours or mists is likely to occur in normal operation occasionally.
Our Schilling crane and lifting technology products are certified for lifting loads. Lifting heavy loads safely is an area in which our development engineers have acquired a great deal of expertise over the last 20 years.
